Scotty
Euro roaming option is a good idea. Not seen it mentioned anywhere but is handy new feature.
cruiser647
I also didn't get the wife's fascination with swype as I type with my thumbs but admittedly when I played with it as part of the win8.1 upgrade I can see the appeal as it is very intuitive....but old habits die hard I'm a '2 thumb' typer, Can't see me changing to swyping. But then again, I can proper touch type on a real keyboard using all my fingers.

NewNiceMrMe
I'd like to see those tests for other phones. They seem to only ever do them for the iPhone's yet I can't imagine many phones will stand up to 3 drops onto paving stones like that.
Arch
I've seen it done to my Z2 as well, it survived intact but that doesn't mean to say I'd ever try it! I'm sure any phone dropped just right (or wrong) isn't going to survive. I LoL'd at his test rig for dropping. I have just a gel style case on mine, cheap & cheerful but does the job. Can't be doing with anything too bulky. Wifey has a wallet style on her 5, daughter has one of those major G shock protection bomb proof ones on her 4S. They don't leave the house without them! Andy_Bangle
Just forget about the colour you order and take my word for it - you're going to be covering it up with a case in no time at all, because there's no way you'll hold the phone for more than a week without smashing it on the floor when it eeks its way out of your hand with its wet goldfish-like qualities of sleekness. This is probably the last thing you want to happen. As this unfortunate customer – named only as Jack – discovered when he became the first person in Australia to get his hands on one of the coveted handsets. In an incident captured on live TV in Perth, Jack excitedly tried to get his newly-purchased phone out of the box to show a local reporter. And promptly dropped it on the ground. billy2shots
My phone turned up early on Saturday morning which was nice. Had an iCloud issue that I couldn't overcome but restored through iTunes. My old phone decided to auto update to iOS 8 just when I wanted to back it up which was annoying. I agree with what Mrme says and would also add the wifi signal is better as I can now get a signal all around my home.

bazza_g
Hmmm, the 6 Plus doesn't work with the Mercedes Command Bluetooth it pairs fine then instantly the car thinks it's in a call constantly. Calls can be made and received using the phone, however the steering wheel buttons do nothing and you can't listens to radio, cd, iPod etc without disconnecting the Bluetooth. Annoyingly it seems to be hardware related as my iPhone 5 with iOS 8 works just fine

That is the dictation of texts. They disabled it a long time ago. However, I'm just talking about general functionality. Texts, calls, calendar, blah, everything is working on my phone as it should be in the car.
Waylander
aah right, gotcha. Sadly the upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 has gotten rid of the "I haev turned driving mode on for you" message (although it still does it of course) The replying by voice is a very useful perk Edited September 22, 2014 by Waylander
Scotty
I'd heard that the Health App wasn't active so didn't look ..... but the Medical ID bit is ! In your own contact entry at the bottom you can select Medical ID and then add any "ICE" information you care to. You can then decide if you want to display it on the locked screen. That's pretty handy.
