Aaron Gould
I'm trying to remove the cylinder heads from my Audi A8L to repair the valves. I have removed the main head bolts, the exhaust manifold, air intake manifold, and coolant lines. I have been able to break the head loose, but I cannot get it to come completely off. I'm not sure what is holding it on. I would appreciate any information to help me completely remove the head. Thank you
cruiser647
You might have the camchains......... I'd have thought a 'heads off' job would be an engine out job too. The cams (IIRC) are at the back, as they are chain driven now and not a 80K mile belt - so don't need changing.
