cruiser647
Nothing bad to report. It passed first time of asking. Not bad for 236K miles. Only advisory was the driver's door mirror which has lost it's dimming fluid stuff. Need to get another I suppose - but they are stupidly expensive - even used on eBay. Andy_Bangle
Why not replace the glass with a standard non-dimming mirror, they're only 20 quid. I don't think an audiphile will pull you up for have a non-authentic part

I don't think an audiphile will pull you up for have a non-authentic part Non-dimming part? Have you seen how many muppets can't put a light bulb in properly? (sorry Mr P................. ) It's the anti-dazzle stuff. I think the newer ones don't need the fluid, but this one does. There are cracks around the edge, where the stuff evaporates out. It would also mean both mirrors have the same yellowy tint. I know, but it would bug me. And no, I can't use a yellow highlighter pen!
