M8CKN
I'd like to ask a question, nothing to do with me would just like a bit of advice
Calm Chris
Nope that rash won't go away. Nope, you can't buy those meds over the counter. James and Waylander are doctors, one likes filming and the other only accepts Amex. Via the net you can (mostly) find enough advice to know a) you can sort it, or b) you need to book an appointment / go to AE / just turn up at the GPs (they won't turn you away). You could tell us and we can come up with all sorts of diy fixes, but if it is playing on your mind go get some face to face. Virtual avice isn't the same as a true consultation with someone that has (likely) dealt with such matters over a career dealing with ailments. M8CKN
Its one of my kids, who are (apparently) registered with a GP, mother won't tell me where and won't deal with an issue
Calm Chris
Take them in anywhere, your own GP. Even outside registration issues they will see them and they do have a system to confirm registration. They won't give you details (Data protection9), but they will be able to confirm the child is on the system. I'd steer clear of social services unless you want untold aghast. I'd go to them if I was genuinely (with some evidence) concerned about neglect.
Cuprabob
I may be wrong but I think Eldavo's wife is a GP. Edited November 29, 2014 by Cuprabob
Booster
She is. What about a drop in gp centre? We have several near us and they are very good. They send stuff to your normal gp if you want them to or don't if you don't want them to.
M8CKN
Definatley not a SS issue, just something that needs sorting that Mum won't acknowledged. Drop in centre seems spot on

drpellypo
Glad to hear. It's hard enough raising kids (I have two) without added stress! Edited December 3, 2014 by drpellypo
Chick
You can take them to your own GP, same as if you had a visitor that became ill or if you really aren't sure if they are registered elsewhere then register them at yours. Otherwise a good pharmacist is usually quite helpful (depending on the matter of course). Good luck
