Isn't the GolfTwbo too old now ?!?!? :D

Nope. MK2 golf was (IIRC) 1985 to 1993ish, well inside the window, and besides, we're easier on applications from 'cougars' than 'jailbait'. Get your arse on EBay, Mr Biscuits! Lots of modern classics for the price of one tyre on that Merc of yours. +++

Rich, ain't heard nowt from Dr O yet about this!

Emailed him? Darryl (at) MotorPunk .co .uk He'll be expecting your application.

Z4 was designed 17 years ago.  It's nearly there :secret:

I'm torn. It's a cool car and we love it and know you can be trusted to behave, but the Z4M is just way too quick compared to the rest of the stuff we expect. We don't want a big difference in performance. Consider you'd have classic old Alfas, British barges and 80's kraut hatchbacks holding you up. Darryl is the disorganiser this year, see what he says - have you emailed?

Weirdly I thought about that yesterday.  The last mainstream ones were sold in 1991, but they kept being built in Brazil for ages - kind of as a hybrid between the Mk2 and Mk3.  So I reckon I can keep campaigning my Mk2 for at least another 2 years until the end of 2016 to keep it within the obviously very, very strict rules enforced by the Club 18-30 officials.

Either that or just buy Rich and Darryl a couple of pints ;)

Fair enough +++ Let me know what you decide, if you'd rather I brought the 7 or 911 then I'll come with that instead
