AshlyV
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help with my specific problem . The car overheated and blew the head gasket which I have changed and the motor is no longer pressurising the coolant system. On start up fired up immediately but appeared to be in limp mode as it would not rev up car ran for about 10 min then cut out and now has no ignition spark which leads me to believe that a sensor might have got damaged in the overheat and is now giving a false rad to the ecu resulting in no ignition spark, how do I test this theory and where is the ecu situated on these cars??? cruiser647
Not sure! What is the yr, reg yr and model of the Polo? Engine size too. Did you figure out the lack of coolant pressure? Could that be the water pump?
