sapphire1616
Hello, I have an S8 D2 2002 model and the passenger side armrest is jammed in the up position. I have tried everything but it just will not drop. Normally I wouldn't be bothered but I have to use a portable oxygen unit and it is just right for holding it in place when driving. Any 'quick fix' things I can try. Not good at dismantling things! Thanks.
cruiser647
I'll see if I can dig out an ETKA parts picture of it. Hopefully, later today....... If I can remember - not my strong point. Other than that, not a clue.

sapphire1616
cruiser647, thanks for this.....I am bewildered, to say the least . I am sure to someone with a brain in mechanical things (not me) it will mean something. I will have another look at it and see if my 69 year old lump of grey matter can make any sense of it. Thanks for taking the trouble to search it out for me.
Scotty
so had to use the old 'Print Screen' button! (Tip : also use ALT and you then only get the active window)
