Mac
Thought some of you may find this interesting... Running Exchange Online in Office365. See here
NewNiceMrMe
I've just watched 2 minutes of that. Before I started I thought "No way am I going to watch an hour and a half of this". However, I have now bookmarked it. I use Office365 as you know and two things have struck me in the 2 minutes I watched that video. 1. Issues are auto-notified to users. I find that interesting as I had a vision of a health notification being selected from a list by a engineer and posted! The more I think of it, the more stupid that thought was. 2. Anytime, any device. That is astonishing. What they're saying is that if you're "Guru Engineer Extraordinaire", you can check and resolve global issues from, say, well, anywhere in the world from a mobile phone. I would never have thought they'd have rolled the tools out that remotely. I am deeply impressed by that. I shall now make time to watch the rest of it. God knows when that will be, but I'll do my utmost because it is fascinating. The sheer scale of it is mind-boggling. 99.99% uptime and zero data loss. Ummmm, zero data loss? Wow. Mega-impressed. NewNiceMrMe
p.s. I have now watched it to 9 minutes. 1+ million servers and now deploying the same number of Exchange servers in single day that they did in the first year. Crazy numbers!
