I use Android too though, and Windows Mobile, and I'm afraid to say I still find that iOS makes them look crap.

That's each to their own though isn't it. Part of my job is responsible for mobile deployment in our organisation. On my desk right now I have Samsung edge 6 plus and an iphone 5s and a 6s plus. The samsung gets picked up by me more often than not. I just can't click with iOS for some reason and I have really tried..

As you say, each to their own, I have used windows phones for the last 3 phones & found them seamless with my pc & rt tablet, easy & intuitive fast & helpful.

Mrs E uses android & I find it clunky & difficult to use.

I have now also unfortunately had to buy a clitoris phone to use basically as an ipod touch to access functions on an obd interface bought for the car. I SO wanted to like it & get on with it, and so when it comes to upgrade time meld both phone & clitoris into one, but just can't.

My original comment above was tongue in cheek with the all the maths etc. jokes from the previous page, not a dig at iOS as such. :P  I use it all, iOS is prettier but i'll stand by the incinuation that i really don't seem to have any woes on my Sony, updates have come and gone and i can't recall any major traumas. We'll see if it handles Toffee Fudge Popsicle or whatever it is next.

I agree with your earlier statement that ios looks nice, just can't get on with it, can't find anything, even simple things seem hard to do.

I think it is all a case of what you get used to.

I actually find Android more intuitive than Windows, but I prefer the look and feel of Windows.  By contrast, I find iOS superb in almost all respects.  If you use one more than the other in your first mobile experiences, I think it tends to be the system you'll stick with.

The other factor is the stable one - and I don't mean reliability.  I mean that if you're like us an have Mac's, iPad's, etc - iOS integrates with them all and makes life very easy.  The same can almost certainly be said of PC's and other OS's.

As above, this is entirely what you're used to though, I struggle to find the relevant settings on Android when I'm using it, I'm not loyal to Apple, I have and still do own several Android devices, I personally think however that if you gave someone who'd never used one before, a smartphone, the most intuitive would be iOS.
