Cuprabob
Remember the race that Schumacher got the penalty towards the end of the race and took it on the last lap and crossed the finish line while passing through the pits. Ferrari were a bit more clever with their strategy in those days:-) As an aside, I was quite surprised how chatty both NR and LH were just before they want on the podium. Barely a 'race' goes by that he isn't bitching about something and it's getting very tedious. What planet was he on yesterday moaning about Massa? It was a race for position FFS! This. NewNiceMrMe
Photoshopped wind up. I can't find it on their site anyway but it is rather funny.
Waylander
Seen racing in much worse conditions than this in past. Very dull decision making
Cuprabob
Some pretty good driving from young Max:-) All the teams coming out and clapping as Massa walked down the pit lane was a nice touch. Very dull decision making More down to the amount of water running across the track causing aquaplaning than the amount actually falling out of the sky. Epic drive by Verstappen. We haven't seen a talent like this since the young Schumacher.
NewNiceMrMe
Astonishing from Verstappen. As for the world title.... Hamilton showed why a Rosberg title will be so, so wrong. Total class.
garcon magnifique
The WDC is awarded to the driver with the most points at the end of the season. Sometimes events transpire such that the best driver doesn't always end up with the most points. Sport's like that. If it wasn't it'd be (even) dull(er). Waylander
The BBC did a good summary article about it. Yes there are 3 races with reliability issues. But there are also 2 (Baku and Singapore) he screwed up or was not focused. But for them he'd have it in his own hands. Weighing those up, arguably Rosberg has been more steady eddy.... Cuprabob
I think Rosberg has been a good servant for Mercedes over the 9 years and if he ends up with the most points after the final race, then he deserves to be WDC, in my opinion. Andy_Bangle
What a difference a couple weeks make, hey? It’s now been almost two weeks since the season finale in Abu Dhabi that saw Lewis Hamilton back team-mate Nico Rosberg into his competitors in the hope of winning the world title. Since then Rosberg has been crowned champion, Hamilton’s been told he’d be punish by Mercedes, Nico Rosberg’s announced his shock retirement from F1, Mercedes have said that Hamilton’s still not off the hook for his Abu Dhabi actions and now… they’ve admitted they were wrong to give the Briton an order in the first place. Toto Wolff: “In the heat of the moment, sometimes when you make decisions you get them wrong,” Mercedes regret giving Lewis Hamilton orders at Abu Dhabi GP: http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/10687548/mercedes-regret-giving-lewis-hamilton-orders-at-abu-dhabi-gp

garcon magnifique
Toto can't win can he. If he stands firm he gets accused of being a German corporate slave, if he admits they might be human he gets accused of weakness. He is a racer at heart. He said at the very beginning he was conflicted about the orders and understood why Hamilton did what he did.
Andy_Bangle
Would be interesting if Lewis walked away from the team as well, of course he won't though.
