patently
I seem to recall people having problems with the latest update? Is that sorted now? Mine is nagging to go up to 9.3.1 and is getting more insistent by the day
Tipex
Did mine a couple of weeks ago, no issues whatsoever.

NewNiceMrMe
Didn't have a single issue from day one.
garcon magnifique
Only issues have been with older devices I think?
Scotty
My old 4S had no issues.
Hopsta
All good here. 9.3.2 is in pipeline, beta came out last week
bazza_g
Not sure if it is coincidence but the most recent update to my 6+ has left the touchscreen on the fritz - either completely unresponsive needing a 'screen off and unlock again' or its getting multiple touch inputs and the screen goes nuts. Either that or Apple are irritated that I've not upgraded to a 6S+.....?
patently
Phone updated, iPad now in progress. Thanks
cruiser647
I suppose I should do the ipad. As Mr P says, it is rather insistent and very constant in it's insistancy. (sp) We always have to wait until the work apps have been tested as working on the latest update. Way too many of them. Scotty
I said my 4S had no issues. What I should have said is nothing's gone wrong .... but I've got no new features either. No night shift etc.To be honest I'm surprised the 4S is still getting updates. Not sure how long I'll have mine. It looks like work are swapping them out for Samsungs. Tipex
Can't say I've noticed any new features on my 6 either, but then I haven't looked for any!
Scotty
Slide the quick access panel up and you should find a new setting for night shift. To be honest I'm not heart broken over that. I have my phone set so a triple push puts it into negative display which works well in the middle of the night.
Tipex
Nope, can't see anything for night shift? What does it do?
Daz
Nope, can't see anything for night shift? What does it do? So you don't have the middle icon in the lower row like this?
Tipex
Oh yes, didn't notice that, thought it was just brightness, it's greyed out though, doesn't do anything.
patently
What does it do? Apparently it makes the whites on the display more yellow to help you go to sleep. I might be a bit cranky tomorrow morning, after being up late tonight trying it out...
CarMad
You can go into the settings and set it to auto turn on after a certain time. I use it on both mine it helps dim the display a little more and its less blue which is meant to keep us awake more and more yellow as Patently mentioned. NewNiceMrMe
I have to admit I think it is shit. The Nighshift function, that is. Orangey, yellowy tinted crapness of pointlessness. I have read what it is meant to do. How did anyone cope before it? Bollocks.
CarMad
A colleague at work wears special tinted specs when he is surfing in bed or late at night to reduce the effects of the white light before this came out; he said it make s a big difference for him. I think it helps and certainly isn't a hindrance so I've left it on mine.

Tell your colleague he'll find it works even better if he takes his specs off, puts the phone/iPad down and doesn't surf late at night, stops watching pron, and goes to sleep.

That's generally my preference, but on the rare occasions when I do look at it late at night, I find it does wake me up. I'll have to see if night shift makes it any better. You racing drivers are bloody clever!
Tipex
Doh, power saving mode was on, apparently you can't have slightly different colours and a marginally dimmer screen when power saving.
NewNiceMrMe
Just let the battery run out. I find it very easy on the eyes.
