Transferring files to Kindle Paperwhite Problem

Team I finally bust out the Kindle Paperwhight I got for my bday in Jan.

Ive got the 1 month unlimited read thingy so anything bought online (free) is coming across fine

I also have a stack os books from my nook (epub) that I converted to mobi and transfered across to the document folder by USB

Restarted the device but I still can't see them unless I manually search for each title one by one and add them to a collection.

Seems a right pfaff

 

Any idea what I am doing wrong to have these visible automatically on my device?

Which directory on the Paperwhite did you copy them to?

 

Try to reconvert the books using Calibre - I did that ages ago when I moved to a Kindle (can't remember what I moved from) and I've got those books on my Paperwhite now and they appear just fine.
