Busby
I love watching the superstock and supersport bikes. When you see the 130mph + laps on the superbikes whilst you know it is utterly ridiculous, there is still a part of you that thinks about how powerful/purposeful those bikes are. The fact that these guys lap at virtually 125mph on a showroom 600 with a new can and treaded tyres is even more bonkers to me!
Mort
Dunlops record lap - 16 minutes and 58 secs - 133.3 mph - Magic.

Calm Chris
Question- would anyone take up an offer to pillion Dunlop.
JonC
Probably (I'd like to think so anyway) as he wouldn't be going so flat out and flip-flopping the bike like he does solo
Calm Chris
Probably (I'd like to think so anyway) as he wouldn't be going so flat out and flip-flopping the bike like he does solo I've always hated pillion. Might be something to do with dares as a lad- reverse pillion (as in sat back to back with the rider) and riders popping wheelies and doing 0-120 mph runs. Scotty
Question- would anyone take up an offer to pillion Dunlop. I might consider it on a proper (smooth) track but not for a lap of the TT.... and maybe not with Dunlop !

Might be something to do with dares as a lad- reverse pillion (as in sat back to back with the rider) and riders popping wheelies and doing 0-120 mph runs. I get that. There no control for one and it's not much fun either! I might consider it on a proper (smooth) track but not for a lap of the TT.... and maybe not with Dunlop ! Good point, Scotty. Given how bumpy the course is in places, you'd be catapulted of that high position. With no grab rail!

JonC
Iannone getting a roasting - he looked both scolded and worried. Any doubt Ducati bosses had, are well and truly burried!
