That way you can have the overhead and flexible where ever you want. You can also put the valve in the best place too. I can show you some various pics when I get home. If you have a spare minute would appreciate these tomorrow is scour Victoria plum and magazines day.....
Daz
Here are some photos of the concealed valves. As I said you can put the outlets where ever you like to suit your needs. Valve is best nearer the entrance to the shower so you can turn it on and let it warm without getting too wet, but still accessible.
Daz
With regards to the toilet, you can have wall hung, they don't take up anymore space than a standard toilet even with the false wall requirement. The concealed cisterns are quite slim so the space the wall would take up would only be 150mm / 6" max. Make sure you get a decent make of cistern/frame though such as Grohe or Geberit.
Waylander
Very nice Daz!! thats reassuring okay I'll go for the wall hung then. those are the only 2 brands I actually know of. All the ones in my house are Grohe, whereas the ones at local bathroom supplies store are geberit. Additional advantage of somewhere to put air freshener etc

Waylander
What I'm really struggling with is the shower. Parents have gone full circle wanting a tap as well. So I'm thinking a 3 way with fixed overhead shower, flexible shower head and a bath filler tap. not seen many reasonable priced options. this one doesn't look that attractive: https://victoriaplum.com/product/phaze-bath-filler-riser-system-shk32 this one looks very cool and the push buttons would be very very helpful for them but I'm wary they will go wrong too easily: https://www.easybathrooms.com/showers/showers/iso-thermostatic-shower-pack-with-bath-filler this one also looks cool but I'm worried they'll will be confused with just the 2 taps: http://www.bathshop321.com/square-triple-diverter-thermostatic-shower-and-bath-filler-kit/ help

Trying to get this done in the 2 days off I have left I wouldn't order that. The floor needs sorting and usually something like an Impey tray is used to get the falls to the drain correct. The Impey trays usually come with the required drain http://www.impeyshowers.com Who is doing the install? Speak to them first before ordering too much.
Calm Chris
I need a scan on my fecked left elbow. High grip flooring, rails, dry areas, there isn't really anything you can't take from your work ward / patient side. Parents are getting older, they want functional. Make it look pretty, but not over function (think 10 / 20 / 50 years on). Split the room, wet, dry, storage. Don't underestimate storage. Avoid sharp edges.

He came on site and saw the siting of the drain outflow in the centre of the room. He said he'd be screeing in (or something) towards the drain and was the one who suggested that is the drain required Edited January 7, 2017 by Waylander

Ouch - sorry to hear that Chris; elbow injuries are very debilitating and especially so in your line of work. Let me know what the diagnosis turns out to be I'm meeting with a helpful guy from estates when I return to work this coming week to discuss placement of grab handles and any other advice he might offer. In principle I also wanted a wet and dry area but as you can see from the pix it isn't really that big so it will be open plan (might add a splash glass later if space permits) (no idea why those pix are sideways on - sorry no matter what I do they won't display correctly) The drain outflow is the black tube sitting out of the middle of the floor and the waste out flow next to the left wall) So my plan is that on the wall to the left of the door will be a towel rad. On the wall to the left will be the wall-hung toilet (with a retractable horizontal grab arm) as well we personal douce The sink I linked to above will go just to the right of the window with a mirror above it and a vertical handle next to the mirror The shower will go to the far right (where that blue handle is) on the facing wall, along from the sink. The taps and shower seat will go on the right hand wall. Depending on the type of seat I get I was looking to site a restractable grab arm next to the seat (on the left side) and and oblique fixed handle to the right wall in the space between the shower and seat and a vertical handle on the wall next to the tap/flexible shower head
Calm Chris
Storage, storage, storage. Bit of a PITA, but voids in walls seem to be mega popular at the moment. Generic google picture..
Waylander
Yes storage is an issue for me. Thinking against that sink with drawers as it will pretty much be sat next to the shower and unless I get some sort of maybe 600mm glass partition in (ie enough to protect width of sink but not too obtrusive further - as the drain is in the centre of the room) the amount of water falling on it will cause the vanity cabinet to swell and be ruined. Cant really think of a viable alternative though unless he'll make a small hung box and tile it over or something There isnt really space for much else as inset requires taking some room to build out the wall....? Waylander
Sometimes the simple answers are the best. Simple wall hung sink. Free standing glass or plastic drawers/cabinet set under it, job done
Waylander
Guys should the ceiling light (not spotlights) be ip65 or ip44? i assumed ip65 but having a pig of a time finding any!
CarMad
Isn't it around or a set distance from a bath or shower is IP65 otherwise its IP44 give or take.
Waylander
It's to be a single ceiling light in centre of a small room by the shower isn't enclosed hence my confusion. all the ip65s seem to be spotlight downlighters Edited January 10, 2017 by Waylander
CarMad
If its 0.6m away from the water source then I suggest you are ok check the regs out.

Waylander
Boys quick question. Tremercati shower stuff. Any good? i have 2 options for the fixed head, flexible head on riser with bath yap and triple concealed thermostat valve setup both from local plumbing stores. one is a essentially rebranded to shop name at £200 (brass thermostat tap) the other place is offering the tremercati setup but at £480. price differences over double but if it's quality I'll go with it. similar question re toilet (Same 2 stores): Kale or Ceresanit £150 with soft close seat vs Roco Debba £270 Edited January 12, 2017 by Waylander
