M8CKN
Taking my boys to their first proper away game today, Oldham v City. The only other 'away' games they've seen are our 2 visits to Wembley in 2013. COME ON CITY!!!
Booster
That will be a great experience! I was at the Derby game last night. Thank fook for the last minute equaliser!

M8CKN
Your crowd were shocking. 6500 in the ground, 3000 of which were ours. We sold out your away end . Never been to a game with such a quiet home crowd.
garcon magnifique
Long term problem at home. Fickle fans and dwindling numbers. You should be flattered that 3,500 home fans is slightly more than normal. Huge contrast to Oldham's away following, one of the largest and noisiest in the division. By the way, was it wrong of me to PMSL when I heard Bradford fans were singing, "You're just a town full of pakis!" ?
M8CKN
I didn't hear that chant, and I'd have been very surprised to hear City fans singing that as that is something that us regularly aimed at us.
garcon magnifique
It'd be equally laughable if Oldham fans sang it. But then we have plenty of fans who lack the intellect or self awareness to realise that. If I'm honest, the abject f*cking stupidity and abusiveness of a sizeable proportion of our "fans" is one of the two reasons I stopped going. The other being that we had become utterly, despairingly sh*t.
billy2shots
Sang with tongue firmly in cheek, I'm sure. Although I don't condone the words used in that particular chant, football fans don't get enough credit for some of the imaginative and funny things they make up. Of course for every funny song sang there are a hundred pieces of crap such as the highly original 'your team, is fecking s4it, your team is fecking s4it' that seems to be doing the rounds and all grounds at the moment. 'Your beach, is a pile of rocks, your beach, is a pile of rocks' Is a far better use of the tune as sung by Bournemouth fans to Brighton supporters (at least it was many years ago when I last went to a game) and there is a little humour in there too. garcon magnifique
A topical one from Oldham fans, as the rumours are he may be returning: "Ohh Chrissy Taylor, You are the love of my life, Ohh Chrissy Taylor, I'd let you shag my wife, Ohh Chrissy Taylor, I want your ginger hair too!" (I bet Oldham fans' wives are over the moon... )
NewNiceMrMe
On the subject of away days, I see Arsenal get an away day in the FA Cup. I feel for Sutton United because I imagine they were hoping to draw a big club.
garcon magnifique
The good news is that if Arsenal manage to raise their game sufficiently, Sutton can look forward to a lucrative replay at the Emirates.

Have you hit £0.5b spends for you mediocrity since SAF yet?
NewNiceMrMe
Remind us of the last time you won the league. After all, some people on here are under 30 years of age.
