I have looked but can't find it. Its really just a pointless 'how far is your foot on the throttle ometer' I've read stones in brakes is common and there is a fix I think now? And the faulty diffs were a specific batch across M2/3/4. Expand 3 Yes, can be turned off using the iDrive. Can't recall where as I found the setting while fiddling and am not in the M2 today as snow is forecast. edit: try here: 1. "Settings" 2. "Instrument cluster" and maybe 3. "Additional indicators" The fix for stones in the brakes is new backing plates, with a bigger hole to allow stones to drop out (p/n below is your car is affected). http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=34208053265 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=34208053266 Edited May 11, 2017 by Andy_Bangle

Soulboy
Found easily on the idrive and now switched off. I am having to rely solely on the nerves in my right foot to let me know how hard I am pressing the accelerator now!!
