Scotty
I want something for my 12 year old son. This seems spot on as it's got : internet radio DAB DLNA (for playback from my NAS) top reviews/sound etc https://www.richersounds.com/product/internet-dab-radio/roberts/stream-93i/robe-stream-93i Any hints or tips before I go for it? CarMad
I looked at that one and went for this http://www.oxgadgets.com/2015/02/review-ted-baker-finisterre-dabfmbluetooth-enable-radio.html (use it in the kitchen), I had a Roberts before it but it failed for no particular reason and it wasn't that old thus partly why I switched. It sounds fantastic and I have some pretty expensive hifi. A really good well rounded sound and a bass unit on the back that gives it real depth. It doesn't have DLNA though but does have bluetooth, so could serve music from a phone or tablet from a NAS and easier to control. Only downside I've found is no station presets. Its £200 on Ted Baker site but noticed below its only £99 on Amazon. But £99 on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ted-Baker-London-Finisterre-Bluetooth/dp/B00NGPFBYG reviews seem pretty good. I'm sure he will be happy with either.

CarMad
Yeah I saw that I'm sure it does I mean buttons to go straight to the station. It was on this morning it really is very very nice to listen to.
Scotty
I went to Richer Sounds today and asked about alternatives. For quality of sound they only came up with something 50% more expensive but without DLNA or some of the key bits I wanted. I've ordered the Roberts so that should be here in a day or two. Fingers crossed it's as good as the reviews suggest.
