S858DGD
Can anyone assist me in telling me how to remove the trim to get into the sub on the left side of the boot. The last thing I want is to miss a screw and end up breaking a clip and have it rattle from now to eternity. Any help would be gratefully accepted. Tomk
you will need to remove the rear quarter and seat, there is a screw behind that , 2 by the bumper near the boot floor , remove the luggage hinges, and also the light under the trim, if you are taking it out replace the sub with a custon built 6.5 inch one , will sound the dogs! ive dont all that in mine
S858DGD
Was trying to replace the standard fit sub with a bose sub but loom is totally different. Got any ideas how much work is involved in replacing the existing loom? Bose system must be fed through an amp. Dont suppose anyone has atempted this successfully
Tomk
ive been down this route , bose sub will not work , and anwyay does not sound any better, you are better off making your own sub enclosure, you can fit a 6.5 " sub in there , install an amp in the rear quarter and run this to the headunit , it can all be done for about 250 if you do it on the cheap , ive got my car all sorted out , though ive used a aftermark head unit , pm me and ill fill you in
