fatcat
Wellcome Beanhead to TSN, I don't think anyone here has used Superchips, most members have used and commented on Revo, Amd, Oettinger, MTM & APR, all things considered Superchips is associated with the max power brigade - that does not mean it is a bad product though. Why Superchips ?
BURTON
Iv used Superchips on my Old G60. But now i wouldn't.. I like APR.. seem good for the money! Best bet is to try cars with them fitted.. See which drives to how you want it. everyone wants something different!
gambba
I think the general consensus is that Superchips are general tuners, so maybe not putting as much time into the map as a VAG specialist (AmD, Oettinger, APR etc.) in this case. But having said that one of the guys on AS does have good figures on his A3T with a superchip. Oh and P.S. welcome to the boards
cheechy
The problem at the moment though is that 2.0 TDI mapping is thin on the ground just now. Oettinger and Superchips are about the only ones on the market just now I think - although I believe offerings from AMD and APR are imminent (How imminent is imminent I hear you ask?) cheechy
Cool - can anyone put in a definitive list then on what is available for this engine just now and whether or not its a chip or a serial port job? And where it can be done (possibly)? I realise a general thread was doing the rounds a while back but that was specific. Obviously I not going to as its apparent I don't have a clue

brunop
Only an enquiry really to see what people though of them. Two friends have just got the new Golf 2.0 GT Tdi, one has had his chipped already (3 Days after delivery!) by Superchips. The one without the chip seemed fairly impressed at the performance gain on the other. No rolling road tests were done though so no figures to speak of.
