Discounts off a 2.5 TDI

HI guys

Did you guys have any discounts off your Treg?

I was offered 5% discount even before I opened my mouth.

I think I would be able to get at least 8% off a 2.5 TDI Sport which is about £3k off.

I received a 7% discount on a 2.5 Sport Auto which is due for delivery September 1.

10.5% discount on the internet on all models (motorlogix.co.uk)but the 2.5 is soon to be a run out model as the 3.0 V6 Tdi comes on line probably before Xmas in UK. No information yet although my local dealer said Feb 2005 for ordering, but what do they know, the manufacturer keeps them in the dark so they don't depress the sales on the existing model.

From what I hear, the 2.5tdi and 3.0tdi will run in parallel, for some time at least.

Don't be too quick to discount the discounts: there's likely to be several versions of each engine by the end of next year, so they'll be wanting to clear the decks before they arrive.

2.5 Tdi at 125 ps, 150 ps and 175 ps. 3.0 Tdi at 130 ps, 155 ps, 172 ps and a range-topping 200ps or thereabouts. The engineers are beside themselves with this one, so it'll be worth the wait!
