TheWesser
Hi all i have been looking at purchasing a Touareg and have been looking at autotrader. 95% of the cars for sale are 3.2 any reason why no 2.5?
Prhim
The 2.5, although common now, was not available as early as the 3.2 (and early 2.5s were manual only) so my guess is that there are simply more V6s around. That plus I expect more 2.5s were bought as long-term workhorses whereas the 3.2 is more often bought by fickle luxury car buyers who chop and change their cars a lot. Just my 2p (as a 3.2 owner who was had four different cars in the last three years!)
DanG
3.2 is more expensive in the fuel stakes too!
DanG
How is the 2.5TDi? I find the 3.2 underpowered and the 2.5 only has 175 hp?
