russellfray
On our new E60, the brightness of the "angel-eye" sidelights seems really rubbish... is there any way to increase the brightness on these by changes bulbs or anything? They don't look as good as the older style 5 series side light eyes as they are just so dim. It's not just ours, I've noticed the same on others on the road. cerbera
Why would you be driving with just your sidelights on anyway ? I see this all the time with other beemer drivers - pretty bl**dy pointless IMO as I agree with the fact that they offer very little use to either the driver or to oncoming traffic. Might as well have your lights on 'properly' (ie beam).....? JT

I tend to have my side lights on a lot in the winter during the day as its always so dark and grey, but not dark enough to warrant putting on the headlamps. Plus I just upgraded to angels on my E39 and I will admitt to having them on when I probably didn't need to cos they look the bollox. Anyway, not sure about uprating the bulb, I did wonder how they work when I was fitting them ...
