As a summary: I understand that we know how to activate the phone support on the RNS-E (thanks to vag com). Because we have mic and phone input on back of the RNS-E, we're now looking for a way to connect a bluetooth module (ideally the audi one). Now my stupid question :-) because the RNS provide advanced phone support, are we sure that the BT support chip-antenna is not yet included in the rns ? if it's not included that mean that the rns feature like phone directory browsing go through the phone inc double pin connection from the rns which is quite odd. craigyb Posted March 18, 2005 Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 I have a Parrot Ck3300 working with the RNS-E, mute and speaker/mic all work in my S8 with the RNS. gizze Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 I will post up part numbers and stuff I have got so far, but from what I can work out it wil give you a cradle but not bluetooth. You would however be able to mount it in teh armrest and get caller id and address' off the sim up on the Nav+ display.
