Si_GTi
www.theaa.com, free online route planner... www.multimap.co.uk, similarish kinda thing... I'm using Autoroute at home, it's version 11.00.something, it won't tell me which one it wants to be, so I guess 2005 version as I nabbed it off me Dad, who bought it in about October of last year? I digress... I find it's pretty good to use, theres about a 60% chance it'll agree with me on my proposed route plan! Of course I've got the AA 2005 road map in the car, as it's a bit difficult to hump a laptop around with me all the time... If you don't want to splash the cash, the AA route planner is pretty neat, I use it at work for planning trips out to various clients in the area if it's somewhere I've not been and it's pretty damn reliable IMO Cheers
craigyb
Try Navigator 4.0, its have voice commands as well as route planning and includes the M6 toll road. I think it's about £40. Craig
Colin M
Autoroute is very good with a GPS plugged into the laptop too. I also like www.mappy.com as it shows fixed camera positions in Europe and has nicer printed route instructions for passenger to call out "2 left, over ridge, 4 right" stylee. Waylander
Thanks boys. I tend to use the online ones too but wondered if any "home product" was any good. The best seems to be Autoroute 2005 but that is about 2 years out of date as it doesn'even have the M6 Toll on it yet... Guess i'll stick to the AA site...
