Hi all,

My car is counting down to its first service so I was ringing dealerships to get a quote for a service.

Was being put through to Service and they just cut me off!!!

I called back and said this to the reception lady and she says (with no apology) well they are very busy can I get them to call me back!!!

Shocking customer service absolutely shocking!!

I didn't like Audi Reading either they just looked down their nose at me even though I was driving an S3 and wanted to buy a A4 S-Line. However, I did manage to negotiate 8% discount, but then I just used the quote and bought from Audi Tonbridge who couldn't have been more helpful

Reading Audi didn't make the most encouraging noises when I was looking to trade in my S4 for an RS6. FFS, isn't that the sort of deal for which they should move into bite-off-hand mode? The salesman I spoke to initially was OK, if not spectacular, but when he went on holiday, I was pretty much ignored. So they lost £60k of business - well done, boys.

Having said that, I have no experience of the service side. Slough Audi were very good when they serviced the S4 but then I've heard horror stories about them as well. I guess you can only speak as you find.

Very true James, my inital dealings with Tonbridge were good because I liked the salesman. He was the corporate guy rather than retail, he said he would have to pass me over to retail. When the retail guy didn't call me when requested I called back and spoke to the corporate guy and said if the dealer wanted my sale I would only deal with him. Got my way and it was a breeze.
