kjones
Is there a way to reset the service warning on my 1.9 SDi Polo (2000)? Without paying the high price of a dealer.
zebedee
Don't know if it'll work on the Polo but on My Lupo i switch the ignition on and then press and hold the trip meter botton and start the car. Once the car starts i hold the botton till it resets the service light. Works for me hope it works on your polo Zeb
Tigz
This is the Lupo instructions. I do think that the reset is the same on the Polo also.
benjie
if no luck you could always try the Golf way - On Golf do this: 1. Push and hold the odometer button. 2. Turn on ignition. 3. Turn digital clock button clockwise, and choose the service you want to reset. 4. Turn off ignition. Your Service indicator should now have been reset. mulkbear
Your local dealer should reset it of free if not shout at them until they do
smizit
i've been fannying around with this problem for a bit of time. I have a 53 plate Tdi Sport Polo and Benjie's method worked rather than the manual's way thanks Benjie! cheers smizit 1. Push and hold the odometer button. 2. Turn on ignition. 3.
