Stunning piece of machinery, particularly in the Martini colours.

I recall a red one flying past me when I was about 22/23 near Redcar - it looked as wide as the road we were on and sounded like a Phantom jet going overhead.

That memory has stuck with me and I'd love one as a fun runner.

They're in the £6-8k region now too.

Unfortunately that price range won't get you a peach.I looked into these last year,the late Evo's(which IMO is the one to have)were pretty nasty under 10k.They are SO badly built though that even a cherished example is gonna give expensive problems.Shame,'cos as you all say they look awesome.My friend had one a couple of years back and to feel it launch off the line under hard throttle was something else!

She doesnt to my knowledge, but my father fiddles with it on a regular basis so I have no idea what has been added.

If you get the balance of revs and clutch just right, a standing start/race from the lights is an absolute scream.
