Mollox
Is there a limit for the number of separate worksheets you can have in a workbook? Trying to find a platform for something and I reckon its gonna need 300-500 worksheets
sidicks
As far as I can remember, it used to be 256 (=2^8 !!), unless newer versions of excel can handle more. Sidicks

Mollox
Ta - did actually google this just after I'd posted I think it depends ultimately on available memory. Nice tip though, if you want a lot of worksheets you can use Tools > Options > General to set the default # of worksheets up to 255 - from then on just insert new ones
