Another question if i may can you fit 10x18"s or is it best to stick to 8.5x18's i have found another site selling the porsche wheels mmmmmmm . andyo Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 I had a set of 8x18 with 225/40 on my last car (celica), I didn't specify the width when I bought and afterwards I wished I'd gone for the 7.5x18. With 8" the tyre didn't protect the rim at all and within the first week I'd scratched two of them. The 225 section on Proxies had less grip than the previous 205 Yoko AVS, I don't know why people rave about Proxies, there is far to much space and not enough rubber.
