mmj
Hi, just read the whole thread (makes interesting reading ) and I couldn't help wondering (reading between the lines) if this story wasn't fabricated to create a reaction? I've never met a girl that wouldn't be horrified at the thought of being treated in such a manner, but three??? Highly unlikey me thinks Girls do tend to be selectively naive though don't they? You tell a group of men that a 40 year old single man has offered to take out his attractive teenage female employees all expenses paid and the general conscensus would be 'suspicious' Slightly off topic: How many men do you know that manage to keep close female friends when in a serious relationship??? Anyway, good luck and remember: Respect yourself - others will follow!
Smudge
[ QUOTE ] Slightly off topic: How many men do you know that manage to keep close female friends when in a serious relationship??? [/ QUOTE ] I've been in a serious relationship for almost 3 years now, and all my female friends that are close have remaind close, without any hassles or problems from either direction what so ever. What's your point?
mmj
My point being, that it is not uncommon that men are discouraged from seeing female friends by their partners, maybe more so than the other way round? So Smudge, just out of interest, does your partner have any male friends and does that ever cause problems? It would just seem that in most relationships (that I know) have only one person able to continue opposite sex friendships (usually being the woman). [/ QUOTE ] Are you implying that in your experince, your missus has stopped you from seeing female friends?? If thats the case, maybe you have been the issue in the past!? I have been together with my missus for 10 years now, married for coming up to 2 and i am only 28 - she has mostly male friends and only a very few female friends - never been a problem either way. Its all about trust, is it not? I dont think its right to accuse this thred of being made up!!! All you have to note is the age of the 3 girls involved...... naivety (SP!?) plays its part does it not!!?? Is see groups of girls like this ALL the time out in manchester - its a very common!! Lighten up and think about it a bit before comments like that......

It was just another idea for the melting pot. (Infact I prefer this scenario to the pervy dentist!) So, just to clarify, that's not my opinion, but a possible scenario. shark_90
[ QUOTE ] How are you btw now, Shark? Hopefully things better now she's out of your life [/ QUOTE ] I'm doing ok thanks Chav. Moving on and clearing up the (emotional) mess she left behind her. She still keeps rearing her head, but I'm finding more and more that I can resist it. She started seeing some scally called Lee (who comically fitted a sub+6x9's into her knackered fiesta for her - how awesome) but I believe now it's been broken off as he cheated on her! NeilB
From what I've seen on the Car Torque forums she can't park for toffee either.
shark_90
Indeed Neil. I believe she's managed to hit a raised kerb, a bollard at Tesco and also a hedge and consequently a lamppost. And now she's seems to be rather a chavette. Doesn't say much for me does it
