Hiya,

when cleaning the car on tuesday i noticed a few paint chips, which i would like to mask out with some top up paint.

When in halfords the other day i noticed they do the right make and colour for my car, but is this any good for this job or would a trip to the dealer be better.

Would prefer halfords at it is only 10 mins away as the dealer is over the hour.

Don't know! Its a bit like a Tipp-Ex pen type thing. Just pour your paint in it (mixed exactly to your paint code) and its chips away! Good for those heavier scratches too.

Broken match stick is also a good tip. 169144-ok.gif

Nope. GO to a body shop, give them the colour code, and ask for a single pack paint, small amount w/ hardener and thinner, so that it look right. get a real touch up brush too. though I would say that, as my touch up paint for the seicento was free. (dad is paintshop manager)
