pomme
Hiya, when cleaning the car on tuesday i noticed a few paint chips, which i would like to mask out with some top up paint. When in halfords the other day i noticed they do the right make and colour for my car, but is this any good for this job or would a trip to the dealer be better. Would prefer halfords at it is only 10 mins away as the dealer is over the hour. Andrew
mulkbear
(Little trick) When using a touch up paint use a match stick to applie the paint to the chip get a good colour match as red is a hard to match

Broken match stick is also a good tip.
malagus
Nope. GO to a body shop, give them the colour code, and ask for a single pack paint, small amount w/ hardener and thinner, so that it look right. get a real touch up brush too. though I would say that, as my touch up paint for the seicento was free.
