Jamesped
Hello all, I own a VW Touareg, whose brakelight unfortunately needs replacing. Having failed this myself I took it to a local garage and they were also stumped. It seems as though it should be easy, remove the screws on the inside of the rear door and pull it free, but there is obviously something more to it. The handbook wants me to take the car to a specialist dealer, I'm not keen to spend the money on this, Does anyone know the trick? Thanks for any help James
Prhim
Took mine to the dealer and they replaced the bulb for free.
shao_khan
Havent looked at one on this, but on the beetle you need to remove the light cluster to replace the bulb, and that has screws on the inside and then has additional metal clips securing the light in place, which you need a thin plastic implement to pull the light away from the body.
