Thorburn
On the A303 earlier today. Was a few cars ahead but could recognise it by the 'shark teeth' on the roof.
NewNiceMrMe
One of these went past me like I was standing still earlier today. It was pissing it down with rain and he took a corner of a dual carriageway as if it was on rails. Very impressive I must say. Total and utter moron though - as I was doing 70mph, it really was torrential rain and he went past doing a very easy 100mph.
Woppum
I can't believe it I have seen a few of these about too. Noticable by the black wheels and the carbon fiber spikes on the roof (which im sure are great for aerodynamics!)

[/ QUOTE ] This one seemed impressively sane, slightly damp road but was going along at about 75mph, car infront of him moved over to let him past and he sped up to maybe 85mph but didn't go blasting off into the distance like most people in cars like that seem to. ian_m
he was probably trying to go quickly but was caught in the turbo lag
rjgreen4
I actually saw one of these in the Halton General Hospital Car Park on Friday.
Soapsuds
Not quite the same, but my mate has an FQ-320 de-catted and a filter on it, pushing out 340 bhp...... Frighteningly fast! One of the quickest things i have ever been in - probably feels quicker due to the turbo lag and the punch that your guts get when it comes in!!! It actually hurts your guts and eyes! We (he) lifted off at 145 on an empty dual carriageway..... it got up to that in a blink! Awesome car, but so uncomfortable...... and 4500 mile service intervals.... not exactly practical eh! Oh - and he has already had 1 attempted car jacking in 6 months of ownership!
malagus
Mitsi said that the 400 aero pack was improved to help the overall performance and stability, though the roof 'teeth' are there mainly to distinguish it from other models.
cruiser647
Sorry, don't like them much, and the noise they make is nowhere near as nice as a Scooby. Just me!
Soapsuds
agree! the noise from a flat 4 (or any flat infact) is terrific! However, its the noise from the Turbo that is good - its got the 'clak-clack-clack' noise that the rally cars have on gear change / list off - same as my starion (ps - NOT the dump valve noise!!!).... chav stylie .....!!!
