NeilB
Ok some arse is driving about in 3 to 4 cars. But is only using one tax disc which is in date, so nobody will suspect a thing. But all the cars are on the drive when not used and there isn't a specific time when the DVLA can catch who's driving what and without tax. Is this reporting this anomous as he isn't exactly the most charming person about. So much for this new computer that gives out fines to untaxed cars... CarMad
The tax goes to the car... so yes report it. If they took a closer look its easy for them to see its not for the current car. If he is using them all they should all be taxed. Simple.
Milo
The tax disc will have the vehicle reg number on it. Have a peak and see what it is. Tell the DVLA/Police the reg numbers of the other 3 untaxed cars and say you see them being used with the one valid tax disc all the time. Leave it up to them then to catch the fecker out
DeanW
They still should have tax disc for each car, he must have declared all but one of them off the road in order to have avoided fines already. Therefore he'll have to be caught using the untaxed vehicles on the road to face prosecution
simonb
I once thought about shopping my neighbour in for this - he's a tool and i don't like him. To do it or to not to do it. Decided against it - he was mid-way through a divorce. Moved house now but the untaxed car is still sat there - untaxed since Feb 04 - parked on the ROAD!! Right outside my house (well, old house now!)

autobahn
Displaying current tax disc in another vehicle on a road - fraudulent use of VEL. Police should be interested, maybe doesn't have insurance for other three cars either.
bazza_g
Good point there - I'd shop him in an instant, if I've got to pay flippin road tax why should I let anyone else get away with not paying it ?
gizze
Report the twat! anyone who drives round uninsured just does not give a toss for anyone else on the road, and should get caught. I hate the way people get banned for doing 120mph on an empty motorway and he will probably get a £60 fine and 3 points.
NeilB
Will report him tomorrow, just a bit tetchy about it coming back to me as they are very classy people... Threatened one of the kids teachers the once...
Paul
dont be suprised if they want it in writing to the DVLA. Police wont act on it. They will just tell you to write a letter to DVLA.
NewNiceMrMe
Report him. I wouldn't hesitate. Whether it be to the police or a letter to the DVLA - anyone who drives around in an uninsured vehicle should be dealt with severely and any driver who lets them off with it is just going to carry on paying the penalty for idiots like this.
