Riz
Or just put a new battery in and hold it against your head. Riz
Philbes
Holding it against your head really works. At least doubles the range of the remote for my Honda Accord.

felixthecat1
If I've walked away from the car and can't remember if I've locked it. I'm getting old, memory fading. I hold it against my chin, that does the trick and it looks reasonably normal to me, you don't have to hold it against the side of your head like you're playing Russian Roulette. R32North
IMO there is a reason why the range is short..... so, that if the button is pressed accidentally when in you pocket you are near the car and know that its gone off and your car is unlocked. You don't want this to happen after you parked up and gone into the super market where you wouldn't have a clue you car had just unlocked!!! A bit risky if you ask me, not something I'm likley to do with the R32
Dan32
If you accidently press the unlock button but don't open any doors, the car auto locks itself. Well, mine does anyway.
