JasT
I've noticed lately that sometimes (and there's no logical reason why), the car unlocks itself a few seconds after I've locked it. All the doors are shut correctly, and there seems to be no reason why it does this - usually if you lock it again then it stays locked. Obviously this is worrying me as I might forget to check one day and walk off with an open car! Any ideas on why it's doing this?
N3WOB
Keyless go? Too much spare change on your trouser pocket making contact with the fob button? Seriously no idea - I wonder whether a diagnostic would throw up any faults? G'luck

BigMeanBob
You should be able to rule out the fob by looking to see if the little red led on it flashes again. If it doesn't, then I'd strongly suspect it was the car itself... My Dad's old Vauxhall used to do the same thing with the central locking....think its one of the dorr locks thats a bit tempramental and the car opens itself again (I guess to let you know that it wasn't succesfully locked the first time). A bit like your CD tray on the computer...if it doesn't eject completely, it just closes again. b0b
hotdog
Even if it does open itself, as long as you don't open the doors it should lock itself. Sounds like a dogy receiver / controller on the car tbh. Unless the button on the fob is sticking.

JasT
I've tried both fobs so it's not the fobs, nor the unlock button getting pressed. I'll connect up my VAG-COM and do a diagnostic, see if that picks anything up.
BigMeanBob
My key fobs both have a little red LED to the right of the junction between the 2 buttons. It flashs when I hit either button... b0b
