Welcome Sokai! beerchug.gif

I've had a 1.8T Cabrio since March 03 and I absolutely love them! A superb choice, decent power but with good economy too.

What colour and spec have you gone for? I'm guessing it's a Sport as I think they all are now (free upgrade on all Cabrios currently I believe).

Oh my...a lot of answers. Thank you all for welcoming me. smile.gif

I ordered Ebonyblack with black top.

I don´t know about were you live but here (Sweden) basiclly nothing is standard on the cab except seatheating, Esp and climatecontrol so i had to pick everything myself.

Boose sound system, Radio concert with CD, Servotronic, Sportchassi, Sportseats + electronic seats, Yellow leather (CHAV is that what you have in your car?), Parking control front/rear, Xenon, Wood inlays dark walnut, Board computer, Cruise control, Cooler in front (i don´t know what it´s called in english), Armrest and Multifunction steeringwheel.

Standard 16 inch wheels but i planning to get me 18´RS4 replicas in the spring.

I will post pictures soon as i can and also I CAN`T WAIT FOR TOMORROW. laugh.gif

I will take some better looking ones for the gallery when i get 18´rims on it.

Ian C: Yes it is. I traded it for the Audi. It was getting old, 2003 V6 Phaeton. Really nice car with wounderful comfort and finish but i really don´t need comfort anymore so why keep it? ;o)

Here are some pictures if you are interested:

Welcome to TSN Sokai and congratulations on your new acquisition. It looks very nice.

A few dealers over here (BMW anyway) do have such handover area's but they often utilise them to display a car they want to give extra attention to, rather than a customer handover ready car.

That's a shame because I agree with Rachel that it makes the whole collection process that little but more special.

My dealers have such an area but the always use it for their 'most special' showroom car. However, they also have an area paved in different coloured bricks outside and roped off with red rope on chromed pillars and that's where they do the car handovers - unless there is more than 1 to do of course in which case you just have to make do with the forecourt!
