I think on the other post they were just checking as it could have looked like you'd put up an advert for your dads mate who setup Elite 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif Back on topic, the only outfit I know of who are similar to P1 are Revo250 - they are an international operation so you can fly out and collect a supercar 169144-ok.gif

Sidicks,

As this is going to be a "nice day" car and it sounds like you'll not be using it much, could you find (say) 15K GBP and buy a westfield / Caterham or 30K for an Atom?

A Westy will give you loads of fun; return sensible (ish) MPG and not depreciate like a stone. Simple to service etc and cheap to insure (ish)

The Atom is a bit more extreame but you can still pick good ones up for about 28-30K

I think you'll find its €7,500 to join, then €15,000 for the annual membership to get your 1,000 points - thats more like £15k total......

It's not really a pure driver's car that I'm after, more of a GT / supercar that I can enjoy - a justification of why I work as hard as I do !!

If I don't do it now before a family comes along then I wonder if I''ll ever get to do it. It's always been my dream (I guess like a lot of people) to won a Ferrari or similar.

Well finance it over 10 years but settle it after a year when you sell the car. 169144-ok.gif

Presumably there will be some big penalties to pay if you do that ?!!

if you want car finance advice speak to me, trust me it's cheaper than leasing at todays prices. stick 5k down and chuck it over 5 years. there are no penalties for settling early with the right banks. Leasing is only usefull if your claiming it against your tax return, and you don't own the car. And when you lease a ferrari it don't include any maint! I've had a search round the net and you won't get less than 24months at 1500 a month. you can buy one for 1180 pcm.
