Doc, if it is on the driver's side (assuming you have a left hand drive car in Switzerland) then if you remove the battery cover, as well as removing the torx screws holding the top of the headlight unit, then you can tilt the unit forward far enough to slip your hand in. You have to do this blind, and just use two fingers to pull the wires that go into the back of the bulb holder. It will come out OK.

If it is the passenger side, then again just remove the torx screws holding the headlight unit in and do the same.

Putting the bulb back in again on either side is again a case of doing it blind, but it is easy when you have done it once. Honest 169144-ok.gif

Great info, saves me messing about too much. My g/f polo was easy, loads of space, a simple H7 bulb. Her previous clio was a nightmare.

I presume the H6W just has 2 spade connectors on the back that I can pull. I will give it a bash soon. My hands are small, I can get on in without loosening the headlight...although Im not sure if I should be boasting about that!
