FuntimeFrankie
Its written about in the manual, but don't seem to be able to find the feature, was it standard on all the 8's? Would be nice to go out to a warm/de-iced car on these cold mornings
s4_sat
it was optional on the 8. should be some sort of secondary control panel in the driver's door.
FuntimeFrankie
I have the other options from DIS, (which is accessed via the menu control next to the handbrake), such as audible speed limit, tyre pressure monitors etc, just not the Aux heating
Fulliautomatix
I have a 'REST" button on my climate control panel that continues to run the fans and circulate the engine coolant for approximately 20 minutes after the engine is shut off. I believe that was part of the "Cold Weather" package available in US models.
FuntimeFrankie
Yep, I have that too, but the Aux feature allows you to set timer up for the heating to come on when you pregramme it, i.e. 6am to warm up when I go out to the car at 6.10am, would be very nice, I wonder if there is some sort of software frig
johnss8
Frankie, as far as i'm a where this was a factory fitted option and the controls are fiited in the drivers door pocket. The rest button is standard on the climate system.
