Scotty
Sounds like a top motor and definately looks like one. I guess they're only gonna use the best looking and best equiped for such a use. Go on - give us a laugh - what is the cost of all the options?

cruiser647
I can't imagine sitting down to begin chatting about a price for that! Then to 'haggle?' OK, barter? OK, 'have a gentlemanly discussion' over purchaising such a vehicle! Wopps, how did you open such a chat? Were the dealers obnoxious, snooty gits or more 'hello sir, have a seat?' jimdiesel
£70k wow. Did they throw in flaps and mats? Lambs wool of course.
eldavo69
I'd want flaps included at that price too, although I'd want them shaved - give that back seat a major workout!
Calm Chris
I'd want flaps included at that price too, although I'd want them shaved - give that back seat a major workout! I suspect that the back seats are fully electric have back and forward, up and down, and vib with massage settings. So no need, the seats will work you out. There might even be a bouncy, bouncy option.
Woppum
Yeah i'm not sure there's much of a market for cars with that sort of mileage, but, it still looks, sounds and drives like the day it rolled out of the showroom.I suspect like most Lexi, it'll end up being clocked in the hands of a back street garage, you'd have no reason to doubt it if the clocks read 50k. Booster
I can see why the time had come to change it: Like any old S Class, it looks terribly dated. I don't think their photos flatter it at all but that really does look like it is from the 80s. As for the money they want for it, madness!! My dad is 73 and still works everyday. I know that gents of this age want different things from their cars than we do so I make allowances for my dad and his beige interiors as well! Woppum
That interior was lovely. In a big car a black or grey interior is horrible IMHO. You need light to give air to breathe. In all my cars I go black, but that's smaller cabins and a different feel of car.
Tipex
The interior looks terribly dated though, as does the whole car really. I'm still at a complete loss as to what it's market is?
Woppum
It is terribly dated. The tech was laughable, but it served its purpose as the perfect tool for 165k miles. Made mincemeat of long journeys. I agree, would love to know where this car will find a home.

Tipex
Wedding car Wrong colour, wrong badge! if you painted it white or silver and stuck a Merc badge on, it'd get some work, but then you might as well save two thirds of your money on an E-Class and earn the same money. Could be, they all seem to use American limo's here, not sure why, they just scream council estate birthday party to me.
