************************UPDATE******************************

Just had a 45 minute converstaion with my Dealer (adam) who is actually being very good at the moment (in light of recent events.) He has a verbal guarantee from VW sales in Milton Keynes that my car will be on a boat next week (pref Tuesday), and will be rushed through Sheerness with absolute priority. Now that means (according to him) that it could be ready as soon as next weekend... if that happens i will be amazed, truely amazed!

BUT, lets wait and see shall we, because that will after all, be my 3rd Guarantee! tongue.gif The only problem is, is that i'm flying out to LA to shoot my TV ad soon (which i really can't tell you anything about) wink.gif and the dates might conflict! man that'll be a choice... Supermodel, GTI, Supermodel, GTI confused.gif

but when all is said and done, what it comes down to is that White Hart is fully responsible for all of this, and must be punished! grin.gif

-Red, bring out the flute! buttcheeks.gif

Don't forget that in common with many car companies, VW UK are nothing to do with VW. They are effectively an importing outfit. Let's hope you get results now you've got hold of someone on "the inside"

Except that VW in Germany owns VW UK.........

Also, stage 7 is the last but one stage and I think means the car is just waiting a few last minute touches before production is complete.

don't hold your breath mate, it really is incredibly random. Like I said, mine was at Stage 8 for 4 weeks (albiet with a problem) but you'll never know what is holding it up, and that's the frustrating part.

As for VW germany owning VW UK, your right, of course. But they do treat them as completrely seperate markets and companies. VW Transport which are tasked with getting the car from the factory to you, is also a seperate company (again adding to the confusion)

VW UK are giving compensation too.

A free tank of fuel, woopie! mad.gif said with sacasm!

If only they knew the inconvenience they'd put me through.

....Depending on what fuel you want Loders to fill it with, they don't have an account with the local (within a mile of them) Shell Optimax station, so it's best to ask for £50 cash so you can fill her up.

....For Dorchester, VW ship to Sheerness and then road transporter lorry within 3 days under strict contract. If pushed, Loders should be able to prepare your car within 2-3 days. They owe you their best service BIG TIME!!!!

Keep us posted, we are all routing for ya! 169144-ok.gif
