Sparky
Does it really work though? Two little LEDs? Where do they point? At the gear stick area?
BenjaminTDI
[ QUOTE ] Does it really work though? Two little LEDs? Where do they point? At the gear stick area? [/ QUOTE ] They are both angled differently, one is angeled towards the console (stereo/climate control) and the other is angled onto the shifter. It certainly makes quite a bit of difference, but I can understand why you wouldn't think so, as they are just two LEDs. Definately worth doing for the price, makes your cabin seem a bit more 'bling' at night.

Bluedan
I have an armrest about to be fitted, which has the connector on it for the lighting, the thing is, I don't think my car has the other part of the connector, as I don't see it anywhere under the console? Chav
Interestingly the B7 S4 cab with interior light pack DOESN'T have a red light in the armrest - is that because it has a phone holder in there? I love the little light in the armrest - helps me find my cigs and mints in the dark without making a mess!

BenjaminTDI
I'm not sure chav, I've yet to investigate, but you probably could, although you might have to remove the centre console to get at it, unless your 'poking through' skills are top notch. Soapsuds
According to ETKA use this part to obtain the wiring harness: 8E0 971 196 - labelled as part 54 on the diagram. It's simple to remove the central console, so probably easy to fit! (PS - mine is factory fitted, so wont be undertaking this mod)
Mitchet
The led in the armrest mustn't part of the interior light pack. I don't have the interior light pack, but I do have the centre armrest with the light in it. (I have fitted the dual led in the courtesy lamp cluster though ) Pic attached of the cable which connects to the armrest. The cable colours are grey/blue and brown. harddrive
Im sure you must be able to piggy back a feed to this from the lighter.
