Nelson_R32
[ QUOTE ] I just called Liverpool Audi and they wouldn't let me order them over the phone. In fact, they were very abrupt and keen to know why I wanted them. They said I had to go to them in person and pay for the item at time of order. I offered to pay over the phone and reminded them it was only £10 or so, but they weren't interested. Apparently, they had £4500 fraudulent order just before Christmas. [/ QUOTE ] Haha! Thats Liverpool for you!
harddrive
I have just re-drilled mine and there is an improvement in the width of the beam. Please see the attached image of them working... sorry about the quality. HD

Sponge
I don't blame the dealer for introducing procedures to prevent fraudulent orders, but when it's for something that costs less than £10? A little common sense please! I don't go into Liverpool city centre that often, so it will mean making a trip especially. More an inconvenience than anything else. Sponge
I did consider that, but concluded either they wouldn't, or they'd ask for P&P. I didn't think it was worth giving them the benefit of the doubt and calling them.
harddrive
The only other option then is ebay and hope that you get one without having to pay over the odds including postage..
Sponge
I'll probably just pop into town tomorrow and order the part. Maybe I'll drop a few comments on how inconvenient it's been.

Milo
I'll be doing this as well I think I've been infected with the bling bug via my PC; first new pedals and now this I took mine apart to see how easy it would be using Ben's guide - literally 5 minutes to dismantle and then put it back together. Allowing time to drill the holes and fit the lights, I reckon 15 minutes tops could see the job done All I need now is for someone to do the rears.....*cough* Bub *cough*
