Retrofit Cruise Control to Audi A3 8P

Hi

After fitting cruise control today which went well, the only part is to re-code the relevant parts of the car.

Does anybody know the correct numbers for the different boxes?

I would assume I will need to change:

Select 16 (Steering Wheel Electronics)

Coding -> Function 07

When I done this mod to a Mkiv golf I took the car to my local dealer and they activated cruise in less than an hour

Your next to last digit should be either 0 (no DIS, no cruise) or 1 (DIS, no cruise) at the moment. If it's 0 change it to 2, and if it's 1 change it to 4.

If it won't take the coding change (like the SCSM on my S4 wouldn't) then you will have to change the SCSM for one that supports cruise control.

You'll also have to use the login code for your engine ECU to enable cruise control on that. The login code you need for that is 11463 - note this is the login code NOT the coding!!!
