peterb Posted February 1, 2006 Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 Well, I did it earlier than last year, when I booked my skiing only eight days before departure, but even with almost four weeks before departure, it still took eight phone calls to Austria before I managed to find available accomodation! Thank goodness for VoIP - at least the calls only cost me 25 Euro cents! Still, I've got into a nice little pension within spitting distance of the lift, and less than two minute's walk from the centre of town. However, will I regret booking the flights with RyanAir? I should arrive in Zell am See before midday on the 25th Feb, and won't have to depart before 18:00 on the following Saturday, so I expect to get the best part of eight full days of skiing! (They do sometimes) And arrive early as if memory servers me correctly you board subject to your boarding number.. or at least sometimes you do.
