silentandy
A friend apparently just had their broadband upgraded to 8Meg. But since this was done they are unable to browse any website other than the wannadoo home page! Wanadoo don't seem to want to know, they say it's a problem on the PC. I can't see that really being the case as IP/DNS settings are assigned by Wannadoo's DHCP and does the same thing whether there is a firewall installed on the PC or not. Any suggestions? aal234
so I assume doing an nslookup from a command prompt works ok? and pinging various websites also works? I know that sometimes upping the speed can mess the connection up. It might be worth asking them to drop it back down again? Do you have another machine you can hook up to confirm its the connection?
