pile
Can the E46 engine do big mileage, like 100,000 + with little trouble ?
kuks
Don't know the answer to that one, but I have seen M3's with 100k miles plus, on Autotrader a few times now - don't know what they feel like after all that mileage!!! But seems a strong, durable engine - some acheivement if you take into account how highly tuned and highly stressed it is - German Engineering at its best
NewNiceMrMe
Yes. There are a good few examples of 100k+ cars on BM3W. One has got well over 145k on it now I believe.
Sam_UK
I have 101K on my M3 Evo and its still good...also know people with 135K and still holding well...So if an E36 engine can hold i am sure the e46 one can too.
