Ska Posted February 14, 2006 Report Share Posted February 14, 2006 The only thing I could fined was this: door trim might give an idea, I need to do the same though its not as bad as yours Alternatively try this: Protective strips Removing and installing trim cover for side member Cover ; For side panel ; Pull off firmly in direction of arrow Cover ; For rear door ; Removing: ; Unscrew bolt -8-. ; Lift (disengage) rear edge of cover, detach from door shell -item 7- in direction of arrow and detach. Cover ; For front door ; Removing: ; Unscrew bolt -8-. ; Lift (disengage) rear edge of cover, detach from door shell -item 7- in direction of arrow and detach. Cover ; For wing ; Removing: ; Move back wheel-housing liner in area of cover -item 1- until nut is accessible. ; Unscrew nut -6-. ; Slide cover in direction of arrow out of wing -item 5-and detach. Wings Nut Door shell Bolt Bolt ; 2 off Bracket ; For cover ; Removing: ; Remove cover for side panel, item 1-. ; Remove bolts -9-. IT_S8 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Share Posted February 16, 2006 The diagram is pretty spot on, i've done it a few times. There are only two crosshead screws on the inside of the door holding it in. You can access them by carefully peeling the rubber strip away on the inside at each end of the door, unscrew them, then the whole external strip slides off. Then just line it all up nicely, and slide it back on making sure all the clips are in line and the strip clips on fimrly, replace the two screws and you should be away.... My missus had a pair of really big heeled shoes and kept ripping mine off, hence why I've done it a few times ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
